One of the ways we can help businesses during the economic downturn to enable them to emerge stronger, is to assist them to become more efficient in their use of resources and to encourage them to seize future opportunities which may result from the transition towards a low carbon economy.
With NWDA support, Business in the Community is currently working with CBI and NW Business Leadership Team to create a low carbon business network for Northwest businesses as part of the Prince of Wales’ May Day Programme. A May Day event is planned for 1st May and the target is to have 1000 regional businesses join the network before then.
